Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager (Roofing) will be leading the metal roofing business for the Malaysian market. We are looking for a sales candidate who is experienced from the metal roofing industry.

• Develop and execute sales strategies and activities aligned with product offerings, market dynamics, and pricing structures to drive volume growth and profitability in the Roofing segment.
• Achieve sales targets in line with the business plan through effective planning and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Deliver prompt, reliable, and value-added services to customers, with a strong focus on problem-solving and solution-oriented approaches.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage domestic sales and service operations to meet revenue, margin, and sales objectives.
• Recommend pricing strategies that support volume growth and profitability goals.
• Enhance market share by addressing customer complaints and providing basic technical support related to product specifications and quality concerns.
• Continuously gather market intelligence to support customer satisfaction, improve service delivery, and ensure timely collections.

We're looking for an experienced candidate with sales and key account management experience from the metal roofing industry. Ideal candidates will have:

• At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the building materials, construction, or property industry is preferred.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with CRM systems.
• Proven sales experience in the metal roofing industry; strong communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in English is required, and fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
