Assistant Manager, Social Media

Resort Wide Social Media Strategy & Social Cares

  • Ability to ideate, plan, execute and monitor social media campaigns.
  • Responsible for social media content calendar planning, content directions from start to end.
  • Collaborate with agency, content creators and influencers to develop social strategy for resort wide businesses
  • Work closely with other business units to develop and implement social media plans
  • Set-up, monitor and prepare reports - social listening reports.
  • Community management - responding to relevant comments on inquiries and the comment section of all social media accounts.
  • A content creator and not shy to be in-front of the camera
  • Ensure an up-to-date understanding of travel/tourism landscape, social media trends and tools to remain at top of industry
Influencer Management
  • Maintain an understanding of the overall influencer landscape and functionality related to each social media platform (i.e. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook & other channels from time to time)
  • Research and stay up to date on top tier influencer brand partnerships and monitor competitive partnerships regularly. Share updates to Leadership as requested.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regional Influencer functions as well as product ordering, product sends, and product seeding ideation.
  • Partner with cross-functional and working teams on execution of influencer activations (i.e: virtual events. Live Host) by managing travel arrangements, budgeting, asset delivery, and market correspondence.
  • Ideation, strategy, execution, and reporting on influencer collaborations.
  • Provide clear briefs, managing deliverable & approvals
Social Media Measurement & Platform Analysis
  • Partner with Manager and Social Media Agency (if any) to collect data and gather insights in order to create weekly and ad-hoc social media reports to measure performance. Analyze insights, highlights trends and make recommendations based on data.
  • Responsible for keeping a pulse on competitor activity and what\'s trending on emerging social platforms, communicating and sharing those trends with internal teams, and finding creative opportunities to replicate Resorts World Genting\'s brand voice.
  • Provide a report of analysis and insights in the overall fan growth, engagement, what works and trend forwards.
Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree or equivalent.
  • 3 years related experience in social media & managing Influencers
  • TikTok native - you understand social media inside and out as an avid user of all platforms
  • Excellent communication, writing and quantitative skills.
  • Experience working with content management tools and/or social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced highly creative environment.
  • Project management skills including scheduling and timelines, budgeting, and communications.
  • Understanding of how to create \xe2\x80\x9cbrand appropriate (non-corporate) voice\xe2\x80\x9d in social media to build authentic, relevant, interactive consumer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d team player, working well with other teams/departments in a cross-functional environment.
  • Influencer/Media PR background a plus.
  • Photo & video editing skills are a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred.
