BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1989, and operates main office in Bandar Utama and a manufacturing plant in Pasir Gudang in Johor, as well as an operational site in Kulim, Kedah. BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre Sdn Bhd began its operation in 2005. Located in Kuala Lumpur, the Shared Services Center provides functional services in the areas of finance, controlling, information services, human resources, real estate and facilities management, communications, environment, health & safety, procurement and import-export order management and information services to BASF Group companies in 20 markets across Asia Pacific. BASF Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, established in 1997, provides infrastructure and utilities support services to BASF sites in Malaysia. BASF holds 60% of its joint venture BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd, which operates a state-of-the-art Verbund production site in the Gebeng Industrial Zone, Pahang, and 50% of Toray BASF PBT Resin Sdn Bhd. Objectives of the position

• Support Regional Business Application Manager (RBAM) and Order to Cash (OTC) Bex.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective solutions in both business application and master data domain.
• Support to co-ordinate Business Release Management & project rollouts for AP Agriculture countries (includes sharing of business requirements, coordinate users\' feedback, performing UAT etc.).
• Ensure implementation of relevant master data management.

Main Tasks

• Monitor AP Agriculture material Master Data to ensure maintain the good quality of master data and resolve Master Data errors for regional materials in regular basis.
• For unused articles, coordinate with country team/Detailed Planner/RBU planner to clean-up in SAP.
• Provide guidance to use of the appropriate system for default setting to avoid human mistakes.
• Support design and implementation of new master data tool and dashboard.
• Process execution for APO master data maintenance and cleanup the unused APO Master data.
• Support on Old element analysis and follow up with APA planner to ensure for better planning quality.
• Provide any suggestion if can improve of planning process and data quality of SAP system.
• Active participation in OTC community meeting by global and regional team.
• APA OTC coordinator for data collection and communication to countries.
• Support system and master data setup to allow execution of intercompany business models and transactions related to these models.
• Support regional and global project improvements activity e.g. involve in User Acceptance Test and follow up with users.
• Support BASIS reclassification request from BASIS team and follow up feedback from respective team.
• Develop and implement improvement and process optimization projects within assigned areas of responsibilities.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Business Information System, Supply Chain management or similar fields.
• At least 3 - 5 years of previous experience in SAP master data management, order to cash (OTC), planning, logistic.
• Good functional knowledge of processes in Order-To-Cash, Manufacturing, Material Management.
• Intermediate to Advanced level of MS Word, Power Point and MS Excel.
• Proficiency in English with good communication and writing skills. Other languages is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving with high attention to detail.
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks with limited supervisions.
