Job Description

• Directs and develops long-range planning and development programs to ensure the best use of organization resources in supply chain operation towards achieving of organizational growth and profitability.
• Lead the SCM team in the execution of improvement projects.
• To design and review Supply Chain Management SOP and WI in accordance with the latest ISO 9001 requirement.
• To ensure the departmental activities adhere to ISO 9001 requirement
• To lead the SCM team in MPS planning, execution of forecasting planning, capacity setting, and buffer program setting.
• To lead & design supply chain activities as well as all or most of the following: customer service, inventory management, procurement, production planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Analyze past year(s) company performance data and initiate necessary action in supply chain operations.
• Research of best practices for optimum factory planning operation.
• Facilitate goal setting with relevant departments in line with company targets in correspondence to supply chain operation
• Implementation of Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• To lead and provide analysis & solutions, executing processes, and utilizing business tools and metrics to improve FG planning, production schedule planning and actual performance, capacity planning, and setting, customer ordering trend, customer forecast trend, and order fulfillment ratio,
• To reduce supply lead time of PCBA level and ensure companywide inventory is meeting the target set level.
• To chair companywide Supply Chain periodical meetings and chair periodical SCM meetings with key customers.
• To initiate and implement effective innovative skills along supply chain operation (cross departments).
• Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activity ***as per assigned by HoD
• To promote & inculcate Safety & Health, Environment, and quality awareness among the workforce.

Reporting To: Head of Department, Supply Chain ManagementRequirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Supply Chain, logistics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent Degree.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management or Inventory Management with a supervisory role or managerial experience in Manufacturing, Semiconductor, or electronics.
• Good in inventory planning, data analysis, and forecasting.
• Prefer to have those having know-how in Order Management / FG demand analysis.
• Experience & Knowledge using WMS, SAP, or S4 Hana and strong MS Excel and Pivot Table commands.
• Familiar with Supply Chain ISO & GPDMD requirements.
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin/Japanese added advantage).
• Able to work independently.
• Having the ability to analyze, understand, and interpret patterns and trends.
