Job Description
The Assistant Manager, Warehouse & Operations is responsible for driving warehouse excellence, ensuring accurate stock management, and leading daily operational execution. This role oversees warehousing functions, supports restocking for all hubs, and manages lorry inbound/outbound scheduling. The role requires a strong executor with the ability to manage projects and lead a small operational team.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Leadership & Accuracy
Lead warehouse operations to ensure stock accuracy and proper inventory controls. Monitor and maintain stock integrity, ensuring physical stock matches system records. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall warehouse efficiency. Supervise warehouse team members and ensure clear task execution and accountability.
Operational Excellence
Manage lorry scheduling, including inbound and outbound logistics. Ensure timely restocking for all hubs and retail locations. Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth daily operations. Ensure all operational activities follow SOP and safety standards.
Project Execution
Lead warehouse and operations-related projects from planning to completion. Drive initiatives to improve processes, automation, or system usage.
Job Requirements
Senior-level or Assistant Manager experience in warehouse/operations management. Hands-on experience using Odin and NetSuite systems. Strong warehouse operations background, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or FMCG. Good problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Able to lead a team and execute tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
