Position Summary

The Assistant Manager, Wholesale is responsible for building and growing wholesale revenue, supporting the end to end Under Armour business in an assigned territory in SEA by overseeing company needs, handling daily business issues, managing company associations, and recognizing business opportunities. He/she will possess excellent relationship building skills, demonstrate understanding of customer experience, has a consultative approach to achieve results, and is comfortable talking to customers at all levels of responsibility. The Assistant Manager, Wholesale will assist the Wholesale Manager in implementing the strategic direction of South APAC in the assigned territories.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Organizational Impact:

  • Responsible for planning and executing go-to-market plans and ensure the successful launch of new products. Monitor market and competitor actions and develop strategies to take advantage or preventive actions.
  • Achieve KPI on sales turnover, increase customers database, achieving sales quota by identifying and developing new business opportunities, ensure on-time collection and inventory management efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly sales report, business review, sell-in/ sell-through report, report template/worksheet and presentation.
  • Align and follow up in marketing activities and ensure efficient inventory levels of the category for launching.
  • Responsible for book order management, products sell-through analysis and sales monthly reports.
Creativity & Innovation:
  • Suggest process improvements and enhancements to optimize the performance of the assigned territory.
  • Bridging the requirements of UA with the customers\' requirements and to implement UA brand standards in the assigned territories. The role therefore requires good communication and negotiation skills.
Communication & Collaboration:
  • Lead strategic development and business roadmap with customers to ensure overall brand proposition is aligned with South APAC functions. Key internal stakeholders are Marketing, Merchandising, Wholesale, Finance and Supply Chain. Key external stakeholders are the assigned customers, potential new accounts.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Native proficiency in English with conversational proficiency in a second language is preferred.
  • Superior analytical, presentation and negotiation skills, self-starter and independent.
  • Persistence and resilience in pursuit of objectives, not afraid of taking on new tasks and resolving challenges.
  • Demonstrates strong passion for the brand and sports in general.
  • Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization\'s goals and values.
  • Technical Skills - Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, and Shares expertise with others.
Education And / Or Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Development preferably within the sports and apparel industry.
  • University degree in business administration, major in Sales & Marketing will be preferred.
