Job Description

We seek a motivated and skilled Workshop Assistant Manager with at least 5 years of experience to join our Engineering Division. If you have a passion for hands-on leadership, operational efficiency, and team development, this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily workshop operations. Assist in coordinating and prioritizing workflow to meet deadlines and maintain productivity. Assist in supervising workshop staff, ensuring high standards of performance and safety. Assist in monitoring and managing equipment, tools, and inventory to minimize downtime and cost control. Assist in conducting routine quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with company standards. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and workshop activities.
Assist in preparing required and necessary report for management.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering /Automotive Engineering Cost-conscious, resourceful, good analytical, and excellent problem-solving skills. Proven experience in a workshop environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory position. (automotive or heavy machinery preferred). Strong leadership and organizational skills. Knowledge of workshop tools, spare parts, equipment, and health & safety standards. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle pressure. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
