We are a Ventilation and Control equipment manufacturer and distributor based in Section U5 Shah Alam, Selangor. Our company is a fully owned subsidiary of the UK-based Elta Group. We serve regional markets in Asia.

Job Summary

We are currently hiring an energetic experienced as well as fresh graduate to take up the role of the Assistant Engineer. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager directly.

Main responsibilities:

1. Assist the Manufacturing team to solve any manufacturing issues.

2. Involve in continuous improvement activities - on process flow and production layout, data collection, analysis and reporting.

3. Execute the production planning and ensure daily production productivity and efficiency target was achieved.

4. Ensuring materials and parts to be used by production are ready at least one day earlier before start fabrication/assembly work to avoid time wasting for waiting and searching parts.

5. Perform random dimension checking before item to go out for finishing (galvanized/coating/pickling).

6. Ensure workers are using the same parts & quantity as stated in w/sheet and coordinate on making amendment with coordinators if any changes are required.

7. Assist in productivity report and KPI for production workers.

8. Ensure all the machines and tools are working well and ensure maintenance was carried out on time.

9. Assist in preparing machine maintenance reports and ensure all the related documentation was in order.

10. Any other reasonable duties which may be required by superior from time to time.

Job requirements:

To do well in this role, you are expected to fulfil most of if not all requirements listed below.

1. Candidates with 1-3 years of working experience as well as Fresh graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing Engineering or related technical qualification.

2. Possess practical, engineering mindset when trying to solve engineering issues.

3. Good with reading engineering drawing, numbers and spreadsheet software.

4. Basic knowledge of machine maintenances (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems).

5. Ability to work with people with diverse background and culture.

6. Pleasant attitude, willingness to learn, apply and explore new knowledge.

7. Able to present and articulate ideas is much appreciated.

8. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Multi-lingual is advantageous.

Working Hours : [5.5days/week] 8.30am-5.30pm (Monday - Friday) 8.30am-12.30pm (Saturday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
