The Assistant Marketing Manager supports the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to retail outlets and e-commerce platforms, and boost overall sales. This role is responsible for handling several in-house brands and overseeing marketing activities on key digital platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. The role works closely with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure all marketing initiatives are aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaigns & Brand Management
Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for multiple in-house brands.
Coordinate promotional campaigns across various platforms (retail, online, and social media).
Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
Collaborate with suppliers and partners for joint marketing efforts.
E-Commerce & Platform Marketing
Oversee and execute marketing activities on company platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Manage store visuals, campaigns, vouchers, flash sales, and traffic-driving tactics for each platform.
Analyze performance data and optimize product listings, keywords, and ad spend.
Coordinate with the e-commerce team to plan platform-specific promotions.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
Support digital marketing initiatives including PPC (Pay-Per-Click), social media ads, email campaigns, and influencer marketing.
Coordinate with the content team or agencies to manage TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Track campaign effectiveness and contribute ideas for content and engagement strategies.
Retail Support & Visual Merchandising
Work with retail teams to ensure in-store promotions, POSM (point-of-sale materials), and visual merchandising are implemented according to brand guidelines.
Assist in planning and executing retail events and roadshows.
Budgeting & Reporting
Assist in tracking marketing budgets and ensuring cost efficiency across campaigns.
Prepare monthly performance reports for each brand and platform, including ROI analysis.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
Skills
Good understanding of digital marketing tools, SEO, PPC, and marketplace trends.
Familiarity with Shopee & Lazada Seller Centre and TikTok Business Center.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or FMCG marketing.
Hands-on experience in managing e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop) is a strong advantage.
