Job Description

The Assistant Outlet Manager supports the Outlet Manager in the daily operations of the coffee outlet, ensuring smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and adherence to brand standards. This role supervises staff, manages store performance, and helps drive sales and profitability while maintaining high standards of product quality and outlet presentation.

Key Responsibilities



1. Operations Management



Assist in overseeing daily outlet operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and inventory. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), hygiene, and safety guidelines. Support the Outlet Manager in implementing sales strategies and promotional activities. Monitor and maintain outlet equipment, cleanliness, and overall ambience.

2. Customer Service



Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Maintain a welcoming and positive outlet environment.

3. Staff Supervision & Training



Supervise and guide baristas and service staff during shifts. Assist in workforce scheduling, ensuring sufficient manpower coverage. Support training and development of new staff to meet brand standards. Motivate and encourage teamwork to achieve outlet targets.

4. Sales & Inventory Control



Monitor daily sales performance, upselling, and cost control. Assist in managing stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing wastage. Prepare basic reports on sales, expenses, and manpower for Outlet Manager's review.

5. Compliance & Reporting



Ensure all staff adhere to food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations. Support Outlet Manager in preparing reports on outlet performance, staff discipline, and customer feedback. Report maintenance issues and operational challenges promptly to higher management.

Qualifications & Requirements



Diploma/Degree in F&B Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in Coffee F&B/retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal and communication abilities. Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Passion for coffee, customer service, and team management.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
