Assist in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the palm oil mill to ensure smooth production.
Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to implement preventive maintenance and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
Supervise and guide technical staff in executing maintenance and repair tasks.
Analyse mill performance data and provide recommendations for optimization.
Assist in procurement and inventory management of spare parts and equipment.
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, breakdowns, and engineering improvements.
Requirements:
Degree
in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of palm oil milling processes, boilers, turbines, and related equipment.
Hands-on experience in maintenance planning and execution.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
