Assistant Product Manager, SPM MY based in MalaysiaLife Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.To grow in-country market share through active support in development and execution of the regional annual marketing plan by acting as the single point of contact for external /internal collaborators and work closely with Business Unit Manager/Regional Marketing Manager to build programs to generate quality leads to influence profitable sales growth for individual and team performances.What will you be doing?Drive S&N brand to success within the local marketplace by tailoring regional marketing strategies into the local marketing and business plans that achieve targeted sales and marketing goals.Provide marketing expertise and support to the sales team, distributors and other strategic partners within the assigned territories to drive aggressive sales growth and profitability.Be the \xe2\x80\x98lead marketing expert\xe2\x80\x9d in the territory to adapt regional marketing strategies into assigned territory and to implement successful programs/plans with local sales, marketing and distribution partners within the territory.Advertising campaigns:Prioritize, coordinate, and implement marketing campaigns and events.Support in presenting product offering and the related commercial offers to Health Care OrganisationsSupport new products launches in terms of pricing, terms and conditions and marketing Documentations:Provide regular reports and updates to the regional team on the status of implementation of the marketing plan within this territory.Customer Segmentation / Customer Data Base Development:Develop effective communication channels for data collection.Implement applications and appropriate responses to effectively deal with data collected.Provide knowledge management support and market analysis.To successfully launch new products/techniques related to achieve required financial objectives:Develop go-to-market plans for new products (business models, pricing strategies, promotions).Actively manage Product- Life- Cycle for assigned portfolio.Conduct Pre-Launch Product Evaluations.Launch planning including competitor analysis and pricing review.Creation and implementation of marketing communications strategy.Demand and Sales Forecasting.Provide Sales Force with internal training (on products and usage of collaterals.Identifying the need for surgeon education activity, organising, and managing courses with Sales teamIdentify or develop marketing collaterals for sales teamsGo to Market:Regular field visitsGathering market research, trends and competitive intelligence and analysis of external market to better understand customer needs and meet or exceed financial objectives.Gathering and providing qualitative feedback, input, and updates to the regional team on marketing programs (competition, pricing, regulatory changes, etc.)Market analysis on competitive strengths and weaknesses.Evaluate and measure marketing efforts and initiatives within assigned territory.Customer relationship (KOL Management):Build relationship with key account management, end users as well as health care governmental bodies.Maintain a strong communication with senior managers and collaborators to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives.Brand Training:Conduct regular brand trainings with internal as well as external groups.Education Workshops:Coordinate regular workshops with internal collaborators and external customers.Compliance:Follow company compliance policies and procedures in daily work.Environment:Requires ability to accomplish domestic and international travel.Requires ability to handle dynamics of corporate business including frequent changes and deadlines, varying workloads, and strategic technologies.What will you need to be successful?Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following:Bachelor\'s degree in marketing or equivalent.Knowledge of assigned product and/or healthcare sales management preferred.3-5 Years\xe2\x80\x99 sales or marketing experience - preferably in a Medical Devices BusinessYou.
