As the Production Manager, you will assist in conceiving, planning, directing and controlling production operation activities to effectively manage the department's budget forecast, in-process quality control, product yield and productivity improvement, machine and equipment utilization, cost improvements, on job employee training and development.
What You Need to Do:
Assist the Head of Manufacturing in conceiving, developing and establishing objectives, goals and plans for the Production Department.
Plan, develop and implement programmes to ensure that production schedules meet expectations and requirements, including high-mixed, low volume model.
Develop plans and methods to improve productivity, reduce/prevent process failures and minimize potential production risks while meeting the departmental expense forecast.
Continuously identify opportunities for performance and cost improvements.
Establish effective utilization of manpower, equipment and facilities to contribute to high production yield and performance.
Motivate, support and provide guidance to production employees.
Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep an the production department accident-free.
Ensure all processes and areas of responsibilities comply with the ISO requirements.

What We Need from You:
Minimum Diploma / Degree in Engineering / Management or equivalent.
4-6 years of relevant management experience in a manufacturing industry.
Strong grasp of the manufacturing operational concept and operations acumen with good command of production processes and solutions.
Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills.
Strong coordination and organizational abilities to always deliver products on time.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability for negotiation.
Committed to follow up and follow through responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and preferably with familiarity to planning software / ERP / SAP.
