As the Assistant Projects Manager at Beautylite Interiors Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of high-end residential and commercial interior design projects. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur, and candidate must be prepared to work outstation and overseas. We also offers the opportunity to work on diverse, innovative projects that showcase your exceptional design and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and coordinate all aspects of interior design renovation projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
Liaise closely with clients, design teams, contractors and suppliers to understand requirements, manage expectations and communicate progress
Lead project planning, scheduling and resource allocation to optimise workflow and minimise disruptions
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and the company's design and quality guidelines
Participate in business development activities, such as client pitches and proposal preparation
Mentor and develop the skills of the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Projects Manager or Senior Interior Designer in a reputable design firm
Demonstrate expertise in managing high-end residential and commercial interior design projects from concept to completion
Excellent project management skills, including resource planning, budget control, and risk mitigation
Strong technical knowledge of interior design principles, building regulations, and construction processes
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, designers, and tradespeople
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, mentor junior designers, and foster a positive work culture.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and design software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Projects
