Drive the training and proper use of quality tools at Jabil South. Recruiting of Quality Department staff. Planning for the future/defining the role of the QA Department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\xc2\xb7 Monitor/evaluate level of involvement of QA Department activities and effects on F4, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
\xc2\xb7 Participate in planning long term/short term functions of the department to support Jabil.
\xc2\xb7 Manage all Quality Department operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
\xc2\xb7 Plan/justify departmental budget.
\xc2\xb7 Evaluate/schedule/prepare training activities.
\xc2\xb7 Recruit, lead, coach, manage, QA Department staff.
\xc2\xb7 Evaluate effectiveness of the management system at Jabil South \xe2\x80\x93 improve as necessary.
\xc2\xb7 Drive profit loss issues to drive improvement of Jabil\xe2\x80\x99s market position.
\xc2\xb7 Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
\xc2\xb7 Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
\xc2\xb7 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS\xc2\xb7 Proficient and knowledgeable in all areas related to the Quality Assurance function.
\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control and PCB assembly process, results orientated attitude, achieve through team concept skills / activities.
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
\xc2\xb7 Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company\xe2\x80\x99s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
\xc2\xb7 Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
\xc2\xb7 Strong and convincing communication skills.
\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\xc2\xb7 BA/BS preferred.
\xc2\xb7 5 years experience in quality related field.
\xc2\xb7 Additional 2 years managerial experience.\xc2\xb7 Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.1. KPI Review
