At Nando's, we're looking for a motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to inspire our team, deliver outstanding service, and keep our restaurant running seamlessly.

What You'll Do

Lead, motivate, and support your team to deliver great results. Oversee daily operations including scheduling, inventory, and manpower planning. Recruit, train, and develop team members to reach their full potential. Ensure the restaurant is safe, clean, and compliant with all standards. Manage costs, control waste, and drive sales growth. Deliver exceptional customer experiences every time. Support local marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers. Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Align your team with the restaurant's goals and vision. Recognize, reward, and engage your team to keep morale high. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Preferably experienced as an Assistant Manager in Food & Beverage or Restaurant Service, or equivalent. Minimum qualification: SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Food & Service Management or related field. Strong passion for food, people, and creating great dining experiences. Proven leadership skills - proactive, resourceful, and results-driven. Able to plan effectively, manage time well, and make sound decisions based on data (including Profit & Loss interpretation). Humble, open-minded, and always eager to learn and grow. A natural motivator who can develop and inspire others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with people at all levels. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
