Summary:



To be responsible for soliciting business from the Corporate Companies. There will targets set, agreed upon, which will act as a measurement of performance. Assistant Sales Manager will maintained proper records, statistic and submit reports of his / her sales activites. Assistant Sales Manager will participate and be involved in all aspects of the sales and marketing operations.

Responsibilities:



To call upon the Corporate Companies which has been agreed and allocated for coverage. To solicit room bookings, meeting and catering business for the hotel from the allocated area of coverage. To endeavor to achieve and exceed agreed room nights targets to meet in our forecasts. To attend and follow-up on all enquiries and sales leads generated from various sources. To be fully conversant with the sales management program of the hotel. To entertain potential and valued clients as necessary. To conduct hotel inspection and presentation to clients. To be fully conversational with sales management program, OPERA System. To maintain individual account / management files, on OPERA Systems. To maintain and tracing systems via OPERA Systems. To maintain customer information in OPERA Systems. To produce all correspondence and administration forms for individual sales transactions. To ensure all files pertaining to sales / potential sales are updated and in order for reference. To handle enquiries, ensure prompt follow-up and provide daily reports on the number of calls. Ensure bookings and reservations of rooms and meeting rooms are in order. To provide feedback on customer needs and expectation for planning and forecasting purposes. To plan and organize Blitzes in areas of accountability. To assist in promoting special events and Cross Selling within the group hotel properties. To coordinate and liaise with other departments in the disseminating of information, dates and other details given by the customers. To maintain secrecy of the Sales Department as well as of th Hotel. To perform other duties as when assigned by the Sales Manager. To maintain customer's information in OPERA System. To be present on customer arrival and personally oversee all sold function etc., in regards to customer relations and to be sure future bookings.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
