Assistant Sales Manager/Sales Engineer- Printing Ink Industry Responsibilities: 1. Report to Sales Manager. 2. Sales activities, budget planning, sales forecast and responsibility for results with a monthly report or whenever requested by Country Manager. 3. Sales activities involve cold calling, collecting market information, identify gap areas and selling solutions to customers. 4. Commit to sales budgets and increase profitability of the company by managing selling price and expenses. 5. Developing business from prospecting new businesses, following up on marketing leads, as well as expanding business from the company\'s existing client base. 6. Communicate closely with customers and maintain good relationships. 7. Provide reports, presentations, and recommendations on market trends, customer trends and competitors actions. 8. Attend to customer feedbacks and complaints and work together with technical team to provide solutions to customers. 9. Work closely with local technical department and regional support teams for new product and business development. 10. Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock. Ensure all completed orders are dispatched on time. Ensure products are shipped appropriately within the stipulated time frame. 11. Comply to Hubergroup \'Code of Conduct Policy\' which will be brief to you after joining the company. 12. Possess a valid driving license own a car and willing to travel outstation. Requirements 1. Diploma/Bachelor\'s degree in chemical, engineering, polymer science, materials science or business administration with technical solutions experience. 2. 1 to 5 years\' experience in printing industry, packaging industry or similar industry. Technical sales with solid sales track records. 3. Industry knowledge: Industrial printing knowledge, packaging knowledge channel structure, healthy interest in printing technology. Candidate from similar industry can be consider. 4. Interpersonal skills: sales account management skills, new business development, leadership, ideas generator/visionary of new opportunities, good communicator, strong negotiator, resource gatherer. 5. Commercial knowledge: Company finances, business practice, operated across cultures. 6. Values and character: motivated by success, reliable and honest, professional, dynamic and energetic, organized, able to see the bigger picture, independent self-starter, resilience 7. Languages: Conversational level in English, Malay and Mandarin. 8. IT-knowledge: MS OFFICE-packages - SAP is an advantage. 9. Creative thinking skills. 10. Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and fast to adapt. 11. Technically minded, commercially astute with experience of successful account management in a complex B2B environment. 12. High customer orientation, Strong expertise in sales and communication techniques. 13. Strong verbal and written presentation skills. 14. Strong planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects through to completion and to manage competing priorities. 15. Commercial and financial acumen with a full understanding of the impact of failure in terms of business cost, production schedules and customer order fulfilment.
