You\xc2\xb4ll also provide consulting and implementation support among the topics of Security Compliance, Travel and Workplace Security, Asset Protection, Incident & Crisis Management / Business Continuity.How You\'ll Make an Impact

  • Ensure adequate protection of Siemens Energy assets and continuity of operations in Malaysia. Additionally, you will provide support when required to the company\'s operations in the Southeast Asian region.
  • Support the implementation and compliance with Siemens Energy Security governance requirements, including but not limited to travel and project security, security incident management, crisis management and business continuity, asset protection and physical security, executive and event protection, situation, and threat analysis.
  • Provide tactical mentorship, operational support, and security consulting to Siemens Energy local Management, businesses, employees, the Hub Asia Pacific, and work in close collaboration with external and internal partners.
  • Promote security awareness, conduct trainings, and deliver proportionate and efficient security measures to support the achievement of business objectives, as well as seeking to simplify and improve processes and procedures.
  • Attend to all security incidents with emphasis on appropriate and timely reporting within the system and line of communication depending on severity of the incident. You will also conduct investigations when required.
  • Prepare security concepts and provide support during each phase of the project\'s life cycle.
What You Bring
  • Relevant academic degree, a professional qualification from a recognized security authority or appropriate security experience through working within law enforcement, regulatory enforcement, military, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of validated experience working in corporate security or a similar environment in high or medium-risk countries, including practical experience of project management, incident, and crisis management, in a multinational company or similar experience.
  • In-depth knowledge about the political and security situation in Southeast Asia.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to manage workload in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision and flexibility in leading multiple and diverse tasks.
  • Ability to analyze and assimilate information from diverse sources, including local and international media outlets, social media outlets, local information sources, etc.
  • Critical and adaptable to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally (
25%), including high-risk areas. * Validated understanding of Malaysian security and other related laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and different security technology solutions.
