Job Description

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangors:

• Statutory reporting, Balance Sheet Governance, Cash Agenda, Transfer Pricing and Financial Control Framework.
• Responsible for initiating local statutory accounting adjustments for general transactions, depreciation, inventory and other financial transactions.
• Responsible to monitor and ensure up to date knowledge of local statutory accounting and reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
• Identifies and accurately maps/accounts for any adjustments to USGAAP necessary to comply with local statutory accounting requirements across all entities
• Designs, implements approved and maintains processes and tools for adjusting US GAAP
• Collaborate with a team of 5-10 analysts to perform financial, control & accounting processes, as well as working on external regulatory submissions working closely with the business regularly, and developing and improving those same processes over time.
• Responsible for month-end close process, ensuring timely & accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
• Ensure strong control environment across the region
• Ensure a healthy position of the balance sheet is a priority.
• Support Cash Generation initiatives.
• Issue resolution - identify and resolve complex issues promptly, collaborate cross-functionally to address root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Stakeholder management \xe2\x80\x93 engage to understand their requirements and challenges, build strong relationship for effective collaboration and communication.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance /Chartered Accountant
• At least 5-6 years experience in General Accounting / Controlling or audit experience will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in English.
