Job Summary

Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Supply Chain functions to support Business Unit growth, operational efficiencies and service standards

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Coordinate supply chain management activities to support client and customer solutions
• Coordinate and prepare periodical reporting on inventory holding against order fulfillment
• Coordinate and prepare periodical reporting to measure the service level and progress against inventory KPIs
• Collect and analyze data to identify performance deficiencies and determine root causes
• Recommend any possible improvements or process enhancements within the area of responsibility
• Gather data/information from relevant functions and provide meaningful analysis for the team
• Build effective business relationships with clients, customers, government agencies and service providers
• Maintain productive working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Finance, Product Management, etc.)

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate working understanding of supply chain management
• Demonstrate basic knowledge in warehouse and transportation management systems (ideally SAP)
• Demonstrate knowledge of sales forecasting, material requirements planning and purchase order processing
• Demonstrate basic understanding of industrial engineering fundamentals and logistics solution design
• Demonstrate basic experience in cost control and productivity improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education

Diploma/certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field

Work Experience

Minimum one to two years' experience in similar role
