Job Description

• Minimum of a SPM/STPM/High School Diploma; an Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, BM and Mandarin; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational software (training will be provided).
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organised.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing lessons in accordance with the school\'s curriculum.
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts introduced by the teacher.
• Help prepare educational materials and classroom activities.
• Monitor students during class, recess, lunch, and other school activities to ensure safety and adherence to school policies.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as grading assignments, maintaining attendance records, and organising classroom resources.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
