An infant care center teacher is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants aged 2 months to 18 months. They are responsible for creating an environment that promotes the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants in accordance with the center's curriculum.
- Create a safe and healthy environment for infants that meets licensing requirements.
- Establish a positive and nurturing relationship with each infant and their family.
- Provide individualized care to each infant, including feeding, diapering, and napping.
- Observe and document each infant's developmental milestones and communicate them to parents.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the center.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Attend professional development trainings and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
