Assistant Technical Engineer Job Scope (Operation)

Assist in identifying and addressing potential issues or abnormalities in network.

Assist in conducting routine maintenance tasks to ensure the stability and

reliability of the network.

Support software updates, patches, and system upgrades under guidance.

Assist in implementing changes and updates to configurations as directed.

Collaborate in investigating and troubleshooting network issues reported by

users or detected through monitoring.

Work under the guidance of senior engineers to analyze and resolve connectivity,

performance, and security issues.

Participate in security-related activities as directed.

Comply with comprehensive documentation of network as per project

deliverable.

Update network diagrams and documentation with guidance.

Work closely with other teams, following instructions from senior team

members.

Assist in collaborative efforts on cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Be part of the incident response team, providing support during network outages

or disruptions.

Participate in change management processes, ensuring that changes to the

network are documented and approved.

Assist in the coordination of changes with relevant teams.

Support efforts to optimize network performance.

Provide support in training end-users and support staff on network-related

issues and best practices.

Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation.

Assist in coordinating with vendors/subcon for technical support and issue

resolution.

Provide support in managing relationships with technology suppliers.

Be available to provide support during critical network issues outside regular

working hours.

Follow guidance in responding promptly to emergency situations affecting the

network.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

in networking under guidance.

Comply with company rules & policy.
