Investment Management

• Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct market research and track trends to shape investment and divestment strategies aligned with business goals.
• Strategic Budgeting: Support planning, setting, and monitoring of investment portfolio budgets to meet SBU objectives.
• Deal Origination & Business Development: Drive sourcing, evaluation, and development of new business and revenue opportunities.
• Investment Strategy & Execution: Contribute to setting strategies and executing investment, divestment and acquisition.
• Financial & Risk Assessment: Review financial models, manage capital structure, and assess risks to support sound investment decisions.
• Transaction Management: Oversee end-to-end deal processes including due diligence, negotiations, structuring, financing, and execution.
• Legal & Documentation Oversight: Coordinate with legal teams to manage the drafting, negotiation, and review of all deal-related documents.
• Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement: Liaise with authorities and manage communications with investors, boards, and partners to ensure alignment and approvals.
• Operational Integration: Ensure seamless handover of completed deals to operations and asset management teams for execution.
• Governance & Process Improvement: Implement internal controls, drive process efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Capital Management

• Market & Capital Trend Analysis: Oversee market and customer research while staying updated on capital cost trends to support effective capital management aligned with business strategy.
• Capital Strategy Development: Formulate and implement capital management plans that prioritize risk mitigation and capital efficiency.
• Deal Evaluation & Structuring: Lead the assessment and structuring of real estate deals and manage capital funding through unit issuances or bank debt.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in fund and capital raising activities, including interactions with investment banks, investors, and analysts during roadshows.
• Risk Management: Collaborate with the SBU Risk Champion to ensure enterprise risks are identified, monitored, and addressed in accordance with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practices.
