Job Responsibilities
- To prepare the Annual Audit Plan for the Corporate Credit Audit.
- To ensure that the approved planned assignments of the Corporate Credit Audit and other adhoc assignments are completed satisfactorily and within agreed timeline.
- To conduct planning audit assignments which includes audit program, scope and audit approach as well as sampling methodology.
- To carry out the audit fieldwork and ensures comprehensive coverage of audit scope as well as regularly update Head, Credit and Shariah Audit on important issues.
- To review the audit findings and observations highlighted by the Corporate Credit Audit team.
- To prepare Internal Audit Report for Head, Credit and Shariah Audit and Chief Internal Auditor review for presentation to Audit Committee and/or Board Audit Committee.
- To conduct regular follow up on unresolved issues until the issues are closed.
- Assist the Head, Credit and Shariah Audit in reviewing and providing feedback on policies and procedures and other consultancy services requested by the Management.
- To perform and guide/train the team members to discharge duties and responsibilities as delegated and ensure that the tasks assigned are completed within the timeframe allocated.
- Ensure that all operational lapses and weaknesses are raised for management\'s information and consideration for the next course of actions.
- To perform and/or review special review assignments satisfactorily as and when instructed by Board/Management within the stipulated timeline.
- To perform and/or review post mortem review per policy requirement.
- Assist the Head, Corporate Credit Audit in other works assigned.
- Certification for Bank Auditors (CBA) (preferred).
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accountancy/Business Administration/Finance or relevant field.
- Credit Professional Certification and Islamic Banking/Finance qualification (preferred).
- More than 10 years in auditing works or relevant work experience in credit.
- More than 5 years in supervisory role.
- More than 15 years in banking experience particularly in corporate credit.
- Risk-based audit and internal control framework.
- Strong thought process, inquisitive, analytical, possess critical thinking, good communication and report writing skills.
- Good people management.
- Credit assessment and monitoring.
- Good report writing skill.
