Assistant / Development Manager

(Responsible in Liaison, Planning, Execution & Delivery of Large-Scale Industrial/Infrastructure Projects)

Role Overview

The position is a key support role to the Senior Management Team, ensuring the successful liaison, planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial parks, logistics hubs, and infrastructure projects. This position requires strong project coordination, stakeholder and all authorities liaison, and analytical skills to align projects with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

Assist Senior Management in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for industrial and infrastructure developments. Assist conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses to support decision-making. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report deviations with proposed solutions. Coordinate & interface with overseas and local consultants, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth and seamless execution.

2. Stakeholder & Government

Engagement with all local authorities, government agencies and utilities providers in the state of Pahang, overseas investors, and tenants for approvals, incentives, and partnerships. Lead in negotiating contracts, leases, and agreements with developers, vendors, and utility/service providers. Responsible in prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for stakeholder meetings and investor briefings.

3. Financial & Risk Management

Responsible in budget tracking, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure projects stay on track. Identify risks (delays, regulatory changes, cost variations, design discrepancies) and propose mitigation strategies. Responsible Senior Management & HQ in documentation for corporate exercises, governance, and compliance.

4. Compliance & Technical Oversight

Responsible and ensure compliance with Malaysian laws, regulations (e.g., CIDB, local Pahang requirements), and construction codes. Responsible in review design plans, construction documents, and permits for accuracy and compliance. Support ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and sustainability initiatives in project development.

5. Business Development & Investor Relations

Responsible the Sales & Marketing Team in market research and feasibility studies to attract tenants/investors. Support investment promotion activities, including roadshows and business matchmaking. Responsible, support and assist Sales & Marketing Team to develop marketing collateral materials, business cases, and proposals for stakeholders.

6. Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction/Project Management, Real Estate, or related field.

Professional Certifications (e.g., Ar, Ir or PMP) are a plus.

Requirements

Local resident in Pahang State preferred (familiarity with local regulations and stakeholders, and with established networking). Minimum 8 years in real estate/property development and experienced in entire development cycle (preferably in Pahang state) is advantageous. Exposure and directly involve to all government / utilities services providers approvals is mandatory requirements. Familiar with investor relations, or contract negotiations is a plus.

Key Skills & Competencies

Project Coordination - Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, deliverables, and teams. Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines and small team. Analytical & Problem-Solving - Ability to assess risks and propose practical solutions. Communication & Stakeholder Liaison - Excellent negotiation and presentation skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia). Technical Proficiency - Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Project is beneficial. Adaptability - Willingness to travel for site visits, meetings, and cross-functional collaboration. This position initial expected deliverable to meet project objective will be 70% liaison functions and 30% project management. Prior experience in large scale infrastructure works is preferred.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
