Job Description

Material Planner Responsibilities:
- Perform raw material planning by determining the required materials and ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production and possibly generating purchase orders.
- Coordinate and follow thru on material delivery date
- Liaise and initiate direct contact with material supplier for plan detail and pertinent spec requirement
- Work with other planners from other area of responsibilities (e.g. probe, assy, test operations) to ensure smooth delivery of product
- Publish regular reports indicating KPI for material planning such as inventory levels, invty costs and delivery lead time metrics
- Drive continuous improvement project.
- Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Strong planning and analytical skills.
- Capable of clear, accurate and timely communication both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
