Responsibilities

Provide

application development, support, and maintenance

across multiple platforms (HP-UX, Windows Server, and Oracle environments). Develop and troubleshoot applications using

Unix Shell Scripting

,

Oracle Pro

C,

Microsoft Visual FoxPro

,

Microsoft Access

,

Gupta SQLWindows

, and

Clipper

.
Support and maintain

Oracle Databases (8/9)

and

Microsoft SQL Server 7.0

, ensuring performance and reliability. Manage and automate

server-side processes

on

HP Unix Server B11.31

and

Windows Server NT/2000/2003

. Implement and maintain

OpenSSH

for secure communications. Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to identify issues, clarify requirements, and deliver enhancements or fixes. Document application configurations, workflows, and support activities for knowledge transfer and operational continuity.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience

in application development and support.

Hands-on experience with:

HP Unix Server B11.31

and

Unix Shell Scripting

Windows Server NT/2000/2003

Oracle Database 8/9

and

Pro

C

Microsoft SQL Server 7.0

Microsoft Visual FoxPro 6.0/7.0

,

Microsoft Access 2000

Gupta SQLWindows 5.0

and

Clipper

OpenSSH

for secure connections Ability to troubleshoot and maintain

legacy applications

while ensuring operational stability. Good communication and documentation skills in

English

.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

modernizing or migrating legacy applications

to newer platforms or technologies. Knowledge of

ITIL-based support processes

(Incident, Problem, Change Management). Ability to work in a

multi-platform environment

with minimal supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
