Job Description
Job Title: Associate Application Support
Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
Support, maintain, and enhance legacy applications on
HP-UX
andWindows Server
. Develop and troubleshootUnix Shell scripts
for automation. Handle database queries and support usingOracle
andSQL Server
. Maintain applications built inVisual FoxPro, Gupta SQLWindows, and Clipper
. Provide first-line support, bug fixes, and assist with deployments, testing, and documentation. Work with senior developers and system admins to ensure smooth operations.Requirements:
Minimum
2 years' experience
in application development or support. Skills inHP-UX, Unix Shell scripting, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL Server, Visual FoxPro, and OpenSSH
. Basic knowledge ofapplication deployment
andversion control
. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred:
Experience in
system migration or modernization projects
. Ability toadapt to older systems
and learn new technologies quickly. Flexible to work onsupport tasks after hours
if needed.Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
