Associate, Business Development (GEGM Bancassurance) - Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!The role:

• To develop new business strategies, i.e. canvass for new business leads and secure them through OCBC branches and its clients.
• To ensure marketing reports submitted on time.
• To conduct a risk underwriting survey.
• To gather market intelligence for management planning and decision making.
• To conduct sales and business activities to OCBC branches and its clients.
• To ensure the overall policy, procedures and regulatory requirements under PIAM and BNM, including AML/CFT/PDPA/etc are adhered to and complied.
• To monitor credit control on portfolios in care.
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• To adhere to AMLA provisions and all other applicable policies and compliance matters concerning GEGM and the Great Eastern Group and be vigilant to uphold these in the discharge of duties.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

The Person:

• Minimum Degree/ Advanced Diploma graduate for Associate level.
• Broad based general insurance experience in sales and marketing or sales and marketing / client servicing experience in any field. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Good communication skills, Good written skills, Knowledge of IT applications, Product knowledge and underwriting skills, Interpersonal relationship building skills.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
