A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. Our team assists clients with their capital investments, assessing which allowances, incentives and grants are available and identifying which expenditure is qualifying and eligible - covering areas such as Capital Allowances, Reinvestment Allowances, Investment Tax Allowances and Green Incentives.
Our team assists clients cutting across all industries, including property developers, manufacturing, retail, hotel and mall operators and energy generation. Our work is client facing and so you will be involved in attending client meetings and undertaking site visits.
The team is involved in projects throughout the entire process, including viability and feasibility, all the way through to the construction stage and building completion. You will be involved in meetings, discussions and presentations to various levels in the client organisation, inclusive of the finance, tax, procurement & project teams from the client and also their external contractors and consultants.
Responsibilities
Providing support on capital allowances, reinvestment allowances and other incentives across various sectors from a Capital Allowances and Incentives perspective
You will undertake the preparation and completion of complex tax Preparation of Capital Allowance claims for submission to local tax authorities and assessment and application for various incentives, allowances, regulations and grants
Managing client engagements and developing strong relationships with both our clients and internal stakeholders
Working collaboratively with a strong team focus

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying , Accounting & Finance or related field and/or professional qualification.
Experience of working in a tax environment, preferably in Capital Allowances
Good communication skills - the candidate will be expected to be the point of contact on the projects they manage supporting a range of stakeholders including client contacts, colleagues in the team and also in the wider tax practice
Good written skills including report writing, technical memo drafting and concise advice notes for sharing with clients
Analytical skills for numerical analysis of client data
High level of integrity and professionalism to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
