What will you do?

In this position you will play an integral part of supporting the Civil division and its success whilst establishing best of Civil Engineering practices.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world\xe2\x80\x99s economic development and, it\xe2\x80\x99s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to \xe2\x80\x98bring ideas to life\xe2\x80\x99.

• Well versed in civil engineering design and contract management.
• Has strong management skills and able to lead and manage a team.

• Analysis, Design & Tools.

• Knowledge of engineering software and their limitations including MITS, 12D, EPA-SWMM, REC-RAC, AutoCAD, Civil 3D etc. and possess in depth knowledge of all analysis/operation sequence.

• Design basis, codes & specifications.

• Possess in depth knowledge of local and international codes and standards, able to develop design basis from project/owner requirements and possess good knowledge of the current industry practices for all civil engineering works.

• Internal and external interfaces.

• Able to coordinate the design with other disciplines and able to meet client/authorities and contractors to clarify scope of works and design/submission requirements and to lead or assist in proposals/bids as required.

• Conceptual & Detailed design.
• Good understanding and comfortable to perform conceptual design for all civil design works, perform detailed design as required by the project and within budget and construction/design timeline. Able to set design criteria, standard detailing, report templates etc. To guide all team members to produce reports/drawings within required project datelines & with good qualities.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Possess degree in Civil Engineering. Master degree in engineering will be advantage.
• Professional Engineer registered with BEM, preferably PEPC.
• Minimum 10 \xe2\x80\x93 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a senior technical position in an engineering consulting firm.
• Able to handle projects independently.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
