Role Responsibilities

Corporate Communications

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the annual communications plan across SCBMaEUR(TM)s and SCSMaEUR(TM)s discreet audiences in collaboration with the business teams
  • Support the generation of content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action
  • Put communications vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness as well as to test the effectiveness of communications activities
  • Develop, distribute and maintain the BankaEUR(TM)s internal newsletters, internal broadcasts and the Bridge
  • Coordinate and organise townhalls and other employee engagement programs
  • Track and measure the level of employee engagement within SCBM and SCSM over time
  • Identify communication opportunities and manage relationship with the media to secure strategic interviews during critical corporate milestones
  • Pro-actively pitch story ideas to the media that fit the BankaEUR(TM)s strategic agenda
  • Anticipate and proactively prepare company executives for interviews or speaking engagements
  • Maintain spokesperson list and organise spokesperson training
  • Develop and maintain key message documents and maintain key data points that back up SCBMaEUR(TM)s and SCSMaEUR(TM)s strategic business plan
  • Ensure compliance with SCBMaEUR(TM)s and SCSMaEUR(TM)s communications policy in country
  • Work with Group/Regional communications teams to ensure coordinated approach to communications as well as consistency in delivering quality outcomes
CCIB Marketing
  • Raise awareness and share of voice by planning and executing marketing strategy for Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB)
  • Work with CCIB teams to provide marketing support aligned to business needs
  • Leverage GroupaEUR(TM)s central research resources to obtain insights that will sharpen understanding of consumer needs and trends for informed decision making
  • Help achieve corporate ambition of building a strong and relevant global brand through close collaboration with regional/group brand team, adhering to guidelines and standardisation
  • Ensure all segment and product campaigns are in place and have a business focus vis-a-vis full year strategic priorities
  • Ensure plans are executed within the brand specifications (positioning/architecture) to reinforce the BankaEUR(TM)s overall brand positioning through consistency in tone, manner, look and feel
  • Drive key group and business projects to successful completion and share best practises and learning with region/group
  • Design actionable metrics and ensure outcomes are used for strategic analytics
  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities
Our Ideal Candidate

Qualifications
  • University graduate in Mass Communications, Journalism or equivalent
  • Excellent spoken and written command of the English language
  • At least 3 years of experience within marketing communications, public relations or journalism
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines
  • Positive, mature personality with good interpersonal skills and adaptability qualities
