Where you fit This role requires a results-focused team player, with strong communication skills both written & verbal. He/She must be able to work under tight time pressure whilst still maintaining high standards of work. Ability to deal with conflict effectively and challenge the business when necessary. Knowledge of MI and Business Support, to advise and support business decisions. He/She should possess strong commercial acumen to be able to support the sales organisation in credit matters. He/She must be credible and be able to negotiate effectively with customers and their professional advisors face to face at the highest level within their organization whilst valuing the customer relationship wherever possible. What\'s the role?

  • Responsible for the risk assessment of customers and the establishment of credit limits, the analysis of the overall credit exposure, the recommendation of terms of credit and the negotiation and management of security necessary to support higher risk exposures.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis of customer financial statements for development of a risk profile of each customer using analytical results to establish credit limits within designated authority level and prepare analysis write-up to obtain necessary approval for decisions exceeding designated authority level.
  • Actively support the sales account holders in credit issues.
  • Made informed credit decisions based on thorough analysis and evaluation of creditworthiness.
  • Review credit applications, credit terms, and credit limits to ensure adherence to established guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to the Credit Assessment Supervisor/Manager/Country Credit Manager as required.
  • Responsible for the re-assessment of creditworthiness of customers based on re-evaluation triggers, and timelines.
  • Provide evidence for authorized approval for the release of blocked orders in respect of credit.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales teams, legal departments, and risk management, to evaluate complex credit structures and negotiate credit terms. Communicate credit decisions and provide rationale to relevant parties.
  • Maintain and foster good working relationships with customer operations, Sales, the business and with relevant FO business partners.
  • Perform tasks and monitoring of resolution in accordance with the defined SLA.
  • Contribute ideas on process enhancements/improvement.
  • Identified operational excellence by objective results, trainer\xe2\x80\x99s assessments, and management evaluation
  • Shows willingness to accept responsibilities assigned and in fact displays eagerness to succeed
Role requirement
  • Degree in Accounting or any related Finance/Business course
  • Good knowledge of financial statements
  • Credit knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
