Job Title Associate Director, Securities Banking Operations

Responsible for leading Settlement Operations, Mandatory Corporate Actions, Data Management teams together with Retail Payments, Banking activities and Cash and Stock reconciliations outsourced from Wealth Management International (WMI) business in the British Isles (BI) servicing onshore and offshore jurisdictions
Provide effective management of the team\xe2\x80\x99s deliverables in processing Settlement, Corporate Action and Data Management functions covering a variety of assets types
Provide effective management and oversight of the team\xe2\x80\x99s delivery of Retail International Payments, general Banking transactional processing and the Cash Reconciliations & Investigations and Stock Reconciliations
Oversight of maintenance functions covering trade capture, trade settlement, internal and external transfers, corporate action publishing and processing, securities data set up, maintenance and pricing in line with bank terms in relation to all services
Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across WMI to drive consensus on the delivery of initiatives whilst anticipating obstacles to success and deploying prudent contingencies
Ensure that the team is able to adhere to the relevant procedures and controls
Ensures reporting of Management Information related to the function is done timely, accurately and completely to maintain KRI/KPI standards
Responsible for managerial duties for allMalaysia teams supporting WMI Business
Ensure all audit issues relating to the department are resolved, ensuring no repeat items and no overdue items
Responsible for job planning and workload management
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
Relevant Degree in Business, Finance or formal business qualification
Minimum 10 years of working experiences within a Private Bank or Wealth Management securities operations environment
Proven experience in managing larger teams (20+)
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Ability to work in a team-based environment and a proactive contributor to improving processes and constantly looking for process improvement and efficiencies.
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with Custdody systems, Avaloq, Milvus, IMActions, Bloomberg, Intellisuite reconciliations
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
