Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Support the delivery of the strategic agenda for FCSO Performance, Planning & Governance.

Business
  • Support the reporting of key performance metrics and FCSO MI for business / function stakeholder reviews.

Processes
  • Support the design of the format and preparation of pack contents to facilitate high quality reporting to the FCSO Product / Segment / Function Business Review Meetings (BRM), driving consistency and standardisation of data where necessary.
  • Responsible for the production of the BRM packs, reviewing data and materials submitted for completeness and follow up with appropriate parties where required.
  • Upload BRM related documents on Bridge in a timely manner and ensure they are maintained up to date.

People and Talent
  • Develop and implement a personal growth plan with the People Leader.

Risk Management
  • Be aware of application of regulations, laws, best practices, policies and standards related to FCSO and changes to business activities and products.

Governance
  • Maintain all governance related artefacts in a central repository and ensure all approvals are available for audit / assurance reviews.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Support FCSO Performance, Planning & Governance to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Operation of Financial Markets; Financial Crime Prevention; The Right Environment Effectively
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders
  • FCSO Screening and Monitoring
  • FCSO Risk Management
  • FCSO Business Review Meeting stakeholders in the relevant segments, products and functions.
  • Group Risk Owners / CFCC Advisory Risk Framework Owners

Other Responsibilities
  • Embed Here for good and Group\xe2\x80\x99s brand and demonstrated the Valued Behaviours in FCSO Performance, Planning & Governance.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Academic or Professional Education / Qualifications; University educated with at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in governance, business management and planning. Financial Crime & Compliance experience would be an advantage.
  • Intellectual and analytical capabilities.
  • Good knowledge of MS Powerpoint and experience with developing presentation packs.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required to negotiate internally with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to act independently, juggle multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a flexible manner in line with the organisation objectives and willingness to undertake other duties as reasonably requested
