Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the entity's tax-related and statutory reporting matters, i.e. tax compliance, planning and reporting, including financial statutory reporting. As subject matter expert working closely with cross-functional team, including finance, legal, operations, commercial and external consultants. Focused on interpreting and applying tax laws and regulations. Involve in planning and advising on tax-efficient business decisions. Drive simplification initiatives and best practices with necessary internal controls.

About the Role

We're hiring an

Associate Manager, Tax

to lead tax compliance, planning, and statutory reporting for Malaysia and Singapore.


You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external consultants to ensure regulatory compliance, drive tax efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement tax strategies and manage transfer pricing. Ensure compliance with tax laws and lead all tax filings (Corporate Tax, GST/VAT, WHT/FCT). Manage audits and liaise with external advisors and authorities. Lead statutory financial reporting and support month-end closings. Maintain tax policies and improve internal controls.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 years' experience in tax/accounting roles. Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and BPC. Fluent in English (written & verbal). Self-starter with high integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in audit, accounting, or tax advisory firms. Background in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
