Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multi-national healthcare company. As business growth and expansion continues, our respected client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual for the job of Patient Recruitment (Business Development). The opportunity is based in Selangor, Malaysia.

As an associate manager, you will act as the technical expert in Patient Recruitment and Retention Planning processes for internal and external customers alike and to provide strategic input to the Clinical and Operation teams. The Associate manager will also be involved in development and implementation of marketing strategies and promotional activities together with assigned team members.

Job Responsibilities:
Patient Recruitment

  • Responsible for the growth of patient numbers and patient
  • Responsible in recruiting new patients from all the referral resources.
  • Plan and lead overall Patient recruitment activities and ensure an effective implementation of each plan and/or activities.
  • Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the patient\'s admission processes for all the payors for the patient\'s dialysis treatment.
  • Provide quotations to Corporate, Funding Bodies, Insurance Companies, MCOs and TPAs and assist in On Boarding process for new account.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing partners to build the referral base (e.g.: Nephrologists, Doctors, Funding Bodies, Corporate companies, Insurance Companies, MCOs and TPAs)
  • Coordinate with the clinic admin to monitor monthly patient movement and provide monthly progressive analysis.
Improve commercial mix
  • Providing superior customer service and admission support to referral sources and patients.
  • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service, with the key aim of providing excellent patient care and satisfaction.
  • Provide Financial Counselling to new and existing patients.
  • Follow up with patient for any feedback and to ensure patient issues are solved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure smooth interdepartmental collaboration (e.g.: regular communication with Operations, Quality and Medical Affairs, Nursing and Finance Team)
  • Collaborate with the clinic to ensure a smooth process of patient admission.
Holiday Dialysis Program for Clinics
  • Coordinate the program together with the clinics and recruitment teams for placement of holiday patients to specific clinics.
  • Provide adequate guidance and support to patients and team members to perform the relevant patient services tasks - ensure patient experience smooth transition and ensure continuity of care in the clinics.
Marketing and promotional activities
  • Work together with the Director in developing both short- and long-term marketing strategiesandpositionings, as well as enhancingtheclinics\' brand and increase community presence of our services and support, through:
  • Researching and evaluating new opportunities for the business, customer needs;
  • Conduct continuous assessment of strategic partnership opportunities for marketing initiatives to grow the business;
  • Promoting the company\'s brand at trade shows and major industry-related events, i.e.: participate in Malaysia Health Tourism Agency programs and events to promote clinics in Malaysia;
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competitor activity and ensure that any directly relevant information is communicated to key stakeholders;
  • Work with Director to create communication plan to be implemented across all marketing strategies and activities to position the clinics at the forefront of quality services;
  • Lead and/or assist in the implementations of marketing campaigns together with the Director & recruitment team.
  • Establish and/or maintain professional relationship with community organizations, hospitals, and other referral sources to promote the clinic services.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree Holder preferred.
  • Min 5 years of working experience in similar capacity.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willing to travel and meet clients.
  • Willing to learn, results orientated, self-starter, highly motivated, analytical, good interpersonal and supervisory skills. Able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strategic, conceptual, analytical, creative skills and the ability to develop and make sound judgments.
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Computer literacy - advanced level.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality cycle.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Legislative & registration requirement of health services.
  • Team player.
