What You Will Do

Scope for the Role and Basic Purpose

The position is responsible for:

  • Creating an effective supply plan for part of a Main Franchise (Self Care). Hence he/she "owns" a sub-franchise and its supply within the franchise planning. He/She understands the compelling business needs of the Franchise and is balancing this against the individual Market requirements. Therefore, He/She works flawlessly with country based supply chain team, Toll Manufacturing facilities, J&J/Kenvue Affiliates, Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs) using regional ERP systems (APO & SAP) to most effectively balance demand and supply, to manufacture and/or deliver products on time and in full, while achieving optimal inventory and service level targets.
  • You will also drive efficiencies and synergies across the manufacturing network and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from planning, manufacturing, source/procurement and deliver teams in delivering improvement initiatives within supply planning to increase the performance of planning metrics.
  • Responsible for any task and duties as deemed necessary by the management.
  • There might be 10% travelling needed for this role.
Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning
  • Reviews per market and total region requirements and develop supply plan for the franchise.
  • Reviews In-house toll constrained supply plan taking into consideration capacity and RPM availabilities and defines supply priorities.
  • Review Third Party Manufacturer constrained supply plan, taking into consideration capacity and RPM availability.
  • Provides input on supply outlook to the markets\' S&OP meeting.
  • Leads related part of the regional Franchise S&OP meeting.
  • Coordinates and communicates proactively the resolution of supply issues (short fall & surpluses) with the different stakeholders.
  • Reviews regularly safety stock target policies with the markets.
  • Supports New Product Initiatives & Product Changeovers by ensuring on time supply availability for launch and minimizing inventory write-offs.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationship with Toll Manufacturing, J&J / Kenvue Affiliates and TPMs and provides inputs to Vendor Performance.
Supply Execution
  • Review Net Requirements and short fall in SAP / APO
  • Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and Forecast to TPMs and non-SAP affiliates within the agreed ordering lead-time.
  • Issues Stock Transfer Order (STO) from Toll Manufacturing following the agreed inter-company freeze period.
  • Monitors shipments until arrival and perform shipping notification for PO to capture GIT.
  • Updates STO/PO in the system to provide accurate supply visibility to the markets.
  • Uses the regionally nominated carriers and 3PLs for cost effectiveness and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
  • Developing a deep understanding of the operations to identify opportunities for improvement and supply chain processes.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements, developing business cases and proposing initiatives to achieve the target design of the Planning metrics
  • Leading and facilitating improvement events. Driving and monitoring the progress to ensure timely action, appropriate management and cross-functional team support/participation and achievement of expected benefits to optimize processes, increase efficiency/cost reduction in each mile of the operations.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure deployment and adoption of new processes to unlock value.
  • Communicate ideas and key findings in a logical and structured manner to senior management and other stakeholders.
Master Data & Authorization Governance
  • Provides accurate and complete supply planning parameters & purchasing conditions for system maintenance.
  • Reviews lead-times and MOQs reduction with key stakeholders to improve supply agility and flexibility.
  • Support transition projects such as Diamond, site transfer of Janssen portfolio, for new system setup which includes setting up of new lanes, UAT, market requirements, and other related planning tasks to enable new operations flow
Self/People Development
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant franchise products and supply chain best practices.
Key Measures
  • The position will be measured primarily on:
  • Customer Service Level: UFR/PA, OTIF-D
  • Inventory: Days & Value, Safety Stock, SLOB
  • No. of Overdue STO/PO, SOTD
  • SNC Completeness
  • Master Data Audit Findings
  • Personal Development Plan in Place
  • 360 Degrees Feedback
Other Dimensions:
  • Compliance to worldwide, regional and local policies e.g. GMP/Quality, Policy of Business Conduct, Healthcare Compliance, SOX, etc.
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years experience in a Supply Chain Planning/Manufacturing role.
  • Integrity: Demonstrates integrity, inspires trust and avoids conflicts of interest.
  • Teamwork & Leadership: Interacts and collaborates well with the team. Respectful and adaptable, yet with a strong point of view

  • Communication & Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and in writing with all levels within all business functions.
  • Information Technology: SAP ECC and APO user. Advance computer skills in MS Office.
