Get to know the Team

The Safety team supports Grab\xe2\x80\x99s business verticals and operations and is responsible for all safety-related aspects of the platform. This team drives initiatives to improve User Safety (consumers, driver/delivery-partners, merchants) for crime, accidents, and food safety/hygiene through development of tech products, policies, frameworks, communications and training as well as sharpening internal processes.

As a team, we also help influence the overall strategic direction of the company by supporting the top management with safety insights and advisory.

Get to know the Role

You will maintain the database for safety related incidents and develop actionable insights based on observed trends/analysis. These insights will influence policies and processes to improve user safety. You will also have the opportunity to work with cross functional teams as well as country teams to execute projects around maintaining high standards of safety and quality of Grab users.

The Day-to-Day Activities:
You are responsible for entering, analyzing, and presenting data relating to Grab user safety incidents.

You will also work cross-functionally and understand the country\xe2\x80\x99s business objectives to provide customized safety advisory and solutions, with the ultimate goal of steering leadership and management teams along with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s safety mission and principles.

You will also support the team in the operationalization of new technological and product developments.

The Must-Haves:
Possess at least a quantitative Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree

Up to three (3) years of professional working experience in solid quantitative and analytics roles

Fresh Graduates with similar background is welcome to apply

Highly adaptable across situations and industries

Proven track record of conceiving, documenting and implementing new processes.

You will work with large data sets to identify trends/recommendations and tell a story

The ability to analyse and present data comprehensively and accurately, with the drive to execute on actionable findings.

The flexibility to work cross-functionally, independently or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is a MUST. This includes proficiency in tools to analyse large data sets (e.g. pivot tables). Knowledge of SQL, Tableau or other BI tools will be a plus
