Deliver engaging, high-quality lectures, tutorials, and assessments to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
Continuously develop teaching, training, and mentoring competencies.
Design and conduct training sessions for executive participants in management development programs.
Drive innovation and expansion of teaching and learning initiatives within the Faculty.
Build a strong research and scholarly portfolio.
Publish and present research findings through relevant academic and professional platforms.
Supervise honours, postgraduate, and doctoral students to successful completion.
Contribute actively to research training programs within the Faculty.
Support the administration, enhancement, and implementation of educational policies and academic management systems at both Faculty and University levels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
Registration with a professional body such as the
Board of Engineers Malaysia
.
Professional qualifications such as
PEng, IPEA, or APEC Engineer
, or evidence of active progress toward such credentials, are highly desirable.
Proven expertise in
electric power systems
, including generation, transmission, distribution, and utilisation, as well as in electrical apparatus, hydrogen power, and renewable energy.
