Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver teaching, learning, and assessment experiences that are innovative and of excellent quality for students
• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and quality assurance of the programme curriculum development and review
• Conduct high-quality research and maintain an active record of publication, build a profile of grants and supervise student research and placement
• Take part in collaborations with other institutions, government bodies, industry and community for research and educational projects
• Cross teaching in other programmes if required
• Undertake and contribute in administrative/leadership responsibilities such as managing/coordinating a module/programme, attending departmental meetings, participate in committees and working groups within the centre and faculty
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess a Doctorate (PhD)/Master degree in Mass Communication / Coporate Communication/Journalism.
• Candidate with minimum 3 years of teaching experience in areas of communication or digital media will be an advantage.
• Candidate with industry experience will be an advantage.
• Candidate must be proficient in the English language.
• Candidate must possess excellent skills in IT technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Candidates with MQA accreditation documentation preparation experience, vetting examination questions, and a knowledge of COPPA 2 would be preferred.
