Job Responsibilities




Provide academic leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and quality assurance across psychology-related programmes. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Psychology, Counselling, or Clinical Psychology. Supervise postgraduate research projects, theses, and dissertations. Conduct impactful research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals (Scopus/WoS-indexed). Secure research grants and lead collaborative academic and community-based initiatives. Mentor junior faculty and contribute to staff development and capacity building. Participate in programme reviews, accreditation exercises, and strategic planning within the school. Engage with professional bodies, industry, and community partners to strengthen academic relevance and social impact.



Job Requirement




Bachelor's Degree in Psychology is mandatory A PhD in Psychology, Counselling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field. Significant academic experience at a recognised institution, with demonstrated excellence in teaching and research. Strong publication record in indexed journals and evidence of research leadership. Experience in postgraduate supervision and curriculum development. For Clinical Psychology/Counselling candidates: eligibility or registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia, Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council) is highly desirable. * Proven ability to lead academic teams and contribute to institutional development.
