Job Summary:

In this role, you will contribute to safeguarding

Ark Digital's

platforms, applications, and infrastructure. You will be involved in both defensive security operations and proactive security testing, including threat monitoring and vulnerability assessments, to identify and remediate potential risks. This position provides early-career professionals with the opportunity to build a strong foundation in cybersecurity while supporting the organization's overall security posture.

Working Days/Hour :

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mon - Friday) Location : Q Sentral

Key Responsibilities

Assist to monitor security alerts, logs, and events across system, application and network to detect unusual activities or potential threats. Assist to maintain core security tools (SIEM/IDS/IPS, firewalls, end point protection). Support incident investigation, documentation, and response efforts. Assist to design and execute tests on web applications, APIs, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, and networks. Perform regular vulnerability scans and assist with patch verification. Support developers and DevOps teams to integrate security into the SDLC and CI/CD. Assist to review source code and binaries to identify potential security flaws. Assist to develop and maintain scripts/tools to aid in security testing and automation. Assist in maintaining security policies, standards, and compliance documentation. Support internal and external security audits, assessments, and compliance books. Provide technical support for data privacy and regulatory compliance (PDPA, GDPR). Contribute to enterprise security awareness initiatives and staff training programs. Participate in threat modelling and risk assessments for critical systems. Stay updated with latest security trends, exploits, CVEs, and zero-day vulnerabilities.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
