JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will do:

• Ensure systems functionalities are within specifications\xcd\xbe and perform corrective and preventive maintenance as per the procedures and schedules.
• To verify incoming feed delivery meets ASTRO broadcast standards for transmission
• Responsible in maintaining RF systems consist of TVROs, uplink antennas, HPAs and other subsystems.
• Immediate fault rectification to be carried out in minimizing downtime. Perform operational activities as per departmental procedures.
• Perform first line maintenance on all systems/equipment within the department. Address, eliminate (and/or minimize) and resolve complaints from internal and external customers. Assist in the project implementation and installation (including commissioning and acceptance testing).
• Liaise with vendors on system development and enhancement (on technical matters).
• Carry out upgrade and modification work on systems within the department\'s jurisdiction.

REQUIREMENTS:

Who you are:

• Must have a Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Communications Engineering or any other related field of studies.
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in a related industry. Innovative and able to come up with positive suggestions for process improvement.
• Good communications skills with good interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical ability and strong planning, organizing and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge in RF test measurement gears usage.
• Good knowledge on RF terminology & satellite communication Independent, strong in leadership, constantly self-motivated and result \xc2\xacoriented.
• Willing to work in rotating shift pattern and able to travel between Bukit Jalil and Cyberjaya.
