Asst Manager/Manager /Sr. Manager - Quality Control (Pharmaceutical only)

Duties and responsibilities

• To evaluate and release batch manufacturing records in the scope of quality control testing (Microbiology, Chemical and Process Control).
• To ensure that all necessary testing are carried out according to requirement for microbiology, chemical testing, Pharma Incoming Control Inspection, process control and stability study.
• To approve test methods and other Quality Control procedure.
• To check the maintenance of QC department, premises and equipment.
• To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department\'s personnel is carried out and adapted to need.
• To establish, validate and implement all quality control procedures.
• To ensure the testing of the stability samples.
• To participate in the investigation of complaints related to quality of the product.
• To authorize written procedure and other documents, including amendments.
• Responsible in the monitoring and control of the manufacturing environment and plant hygiene (jointly with the Production Manager).
• To ensure retention of quality records.
• Responsible in the inspection of compliance with the requirements of GMP for laboratories.
• Responsible in the inspection, investigations and taking of samples in order to monitor factors which may effect product quality (jointly with Production Manager).
• The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Professional competencies

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Pharmacy/Biotechnology or equivalent.
• Must possess minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QC department in pharmaceutical industry.
• Possess strong leadership skill and team management experience.
• Experienced in managing Pharma Test Method including Microbiology, Chemistry, In Process Quality Control.
• Strong knowledge in GMP and data integrity.
• Experienced in releasing batch manufacturing records and batches in the scope of quality control testing (Microbiology, Chemical and Process Control).
• Good experience in handling audit and prepare the department for audit purpose.
