POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Required : \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in quality system (ISO9001), and quality control techniques. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 5 years working experience in manufacturing operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Has the ability to analyze and develop solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Have effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Desired : Experiences related to control valves. MAJOR ROLE Provide technical advisory on Emerson Welding System. Manage through subordinate, the development and maintenance of quality evaluation, control system and protocols for QC functions gate. Manage supplier qualification audit. Manages the overall development of inspection and testing process, mechanism and equipment as applied to new or existing product. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing/supervising supplier audits ensuring that quality management system non-conformances / observations are properly investigated, corrections and/or corrective actions are performed by business processes and audit findings are closed \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing / Updating quality management system local work instructions in alignment with global work instructions. Actively contribute to developing global work instructions for business processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor QA/QC concerns highlighted by client & ensure that product non-conformances / issues are properly investigated, and corrective actions are proposed and/or implemented until satisfactory closure \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor suppliers/fabricator quality performance recording & development process. \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly update quality competency matrix, training plans, training records, risks, opportunities etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor review process of internal and supplier procedures (welding, NDE, coating, heat treatment) , inspection & test plan, test reports, manufacturing record books and client approval. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor inspections of raw material, piping bulk components (pipe, fittings, flanges, valves etc.), fabricated components like piping, structures, and pressure vessel etc. for domestic or international projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor inspection/QC activities at supplier\xe2\x80\x99s or Emerson manufacturing plants including witness of material identification & testing, welding/fabrication, NDE, Dimension test, Hydro test, FAT etc. as per relevant international codes, standards, project specifications etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support welding development and qualification (as qualify welding engineer)
