We\'re excited to announce that we are opening our bar soon and we\'re looking for a talented Service Staff to join our team! We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a fast learner preferably with knowledge and passion for wine, craft beer and cocktails.Overview:To assist with all manner of customer service, making sure customers are well taken care of throughout their time at our bar.Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort customers to their tables.
• Presenting menus and specials and making recommendations
• Answering questions about menu items and options
• Being knowledgeable about the wine,s craft beers, cocktails and other alcohol beverages
• Take accurate orders, using a POS ordering software or order slips
• Submitting orders to the bar
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
• Identify customers\' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Communicate order details to the Bar Attendant
• Serve food and drinks and presenting it in a timely manner
• Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
• Deliver checks and collect payment
• Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
• Staying updates with weekly specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations
• Keeping the server station organized and refilling supplies as needed
• Follow all relevant health department regulations.
• Dealing with complaints when needed
