• Provide high quality, accurate and timely legal advice to the respective country management.
• Draft, review and negotiate tenders and contracts with our customers.
• Provide legal support in day-to-day operations of the company (including advice on laws and regulations applicable to the oil and gas industry, general employment, dispute resolution and company laws);
• Management of litigation and arbitration, including managing external law firms/counsel and liaising with company secretary.
• Advising on issues pertaining to our agents, distributors and JV partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Law.
• Has been called to the Malaysian bar.
• 6-10 years\' post-qualifying legal experience; experience in Oil & Gas industry would be preferred but not a requirement.
• Experienced in contracts/corporate commercial work and able to handle general legal matters and negotiations with customers.
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent English language skills (both written and verbal), additional language skills would be an advantage
